A hopeless task

In my dream, I was visiting Gaza, and trying to keep a hospital for children open while Hamas was trying to kill any aid workers. I tried to rope in people I know who had more skills in this area than I, but it felt like a hopeless task.

Relevant context: I'm a psychologist who specializes in asylum evaluations, particularly with individuals who have experiences torture as a result of a particular aspect of their identity. I don't usually remember my dreams, but this one was vivid (and unsettling).
