Tarantulas kept escaping

I had a dream that my mother purchased several pet tarantulas while I was away at college, ignoring or forgetting the fact that I am petrified of spiders. The tarantulas kept escaping their cages and running around, a lot of them hid in my room and under my blankets. I screamed at my mom to get rid of them but she didn’t care and ignored me.

Relevant context: I’m a college student going into the Art Education field. I’m pretty sure that my chosen job won’t exist once I graduate, so I’m doomed unless I immigrate. [sic]
